Pastor Simon Ntabiirwe

Most of us will view missions from only one side…. the side devoted to serving. However, if there were no one to accept our service or to organize our effort much of our energy and resources would be wasted. 4 HIM in Africa Ministries is devoted to serving, in part through the teaching and encouragement of bush pastors, but also through preaching and teaching the word of God, evangelism efforts, and the support of preexisting, ongoing Christian based ministries. Pastor Simon Ntabiirwe and the Revival Miracle Ministry graciously receive our efforts in Uganda. So let me introduce you to him.
Pastor Simon was born January 26, 1974 in southwestern Uganda near the city of Mbarara and raised in Entebbe.  He was the son of an engineer. When he was about 10 years old tragedy struck his family. The soldiers of then dictator Milton Obote murdered his father, believing him to be working on the side of the current president but then rebel leader, Yoweri Museveni. His uncles were also forced into exile and Simon and his siblings were passed into the care of his grandmother when his mother died shortly thereafter. Despite this difficult upbringing Simon answered the Lords call in 1995 at the age of 21.
Pastor Simon began his church fellowship and attendance at Entebbe Miracle Center and by 1997 he answered the call of God to become a missionary to Uganda. As a missionary he would venture out into the small villages to preach and teach the word of God. If there was a local church he would direct the newly saved people to join that church, and where there was no local church he would plant one and raise up a pastor from that group of saved souls. These "bush" pastors receive only a bare minimum of instruction and may not even be in possession of a Bible, but they share what they know... that they are saved by the Grace of God and others can be too. In November 2001, Pastor Simon planted his first church in Mbarara, place of his birth.  The number of church plants grew quickly, now numbering well more than 100, and he remains their pastor overseer. Revival Miracle Ministries was formed by Pastor Simon to organize these church plants.

Pastor Simon feels led by God to continue to plant churches in areas of need within Uganda and is even extending his ministry toward the borders of Rwanda and the Congo. His goals are to provide support and education to the bush pastors, to evangelize, and to bring in the word of God through crusades and other ministry functions. As God provides the means church shelters are constructed, materials are provided for the ministries and primary and technical schools are constructed and supported. God is working in, through and around Pastor Simon Ntabiirwe to provide Uganda with a future and a hope. 4 HIM in Africa Ministries maintains a strong working alliance with the Revival Miracle Ministries and Pastor Simon.
Pastor Simon currently resides in Rubindi Trading Center, a village in the Mbarara District with his wife Florence and his 3 children: Solomon, Gospel and Preacher. In addition to his many, many duties within the Revival Miracle Center Ministries he pastors his own church, the Rehoboth Miracle Center.
